Tightly spaced center lugs keep the Hoodlum rolling fast, while lower knob height increases stability in hard turns and landings. Counter-sunk lugs offer additional contact edges, providing unsurpassed traction on hardpack, clay, and loose berms.

We also noticed this tyre is pretty damn light (although Maxxis don't make much of a deal of it). Most tyres weigh in at arround 600-700g where as the Hoodlum comes in at a trim 475g!
